Key requirements

Qualifications and referrals come first

European SMEs trust a partner because someone they trust vouches for it and because the team is demonstrably qualified. So these two carry the most weight in our review.

Requirement 1

Qualifications

  • Company certifications relevant to your work, for example ISO 27001, ISO 9001, SOC 2 or CMMI
  • Team credentials for the people who will deliver, for example SAP, Microsoft, AWS, CISSP, CA/ACCA or PMP
  • CVs of the delivery lead and core team, shared in confidence
  • Domain knowledge of European rules where relevant (GDPR, e-invoicing formats, NIS2, CE marking)
  • A short practical assessment reviewed by an independent European expert

Requirement 2

Referrals

  • Two client referrals from clients outside India, at least one in Europe where possible. We call them ourselves.
  • One professional referral from a SMEbrug connector, an existing delivery partner, a chamber of commerce or an industry body (for example NASSCOM)
  • Referrals must be from the last [3] years and for work similar to what you will deliver through us
  • Applications referred by a connector or partner are fast-tracked

Eligibility conditions

Registered company

  • Indian Private Limited, LLP or Public Limited company (other forms case by case)
  • At least 2 years of operations and 2 years of filed accounts
  • GST registration, able to invoice export of services
  • No insolvency proceedings; not on EU, UN or Indian sanctions lists

Delivery track record

  • At least [3] completed projects for clients outside India
  • At least 1 of those for a client in Europe (preferred, not mandatory)
  • Case studies you are allowed to share with us in confidence

Team & communication

  • A named delivery lead with fluent business English
  • At least [4] working hours overlap with Central European Time
  • Stable team: staff turnover below [X]% per year on client work
  • European language skills (German, Dutch, French) are a plus

Security & data protection

  • ISO 27001 or SOC 2, or complete our security questionnaire
  • Sign our data processing agreement and EU Standard Contractual Clauses
  • Work inside client or EU-hosted systems when the client requires it
  • Background checks for staff with access to client data

Insurance

  • Professional liability (indemnity) cover of at least [€X]
  • Cyber insurance of at least [€X], or join our group policy for [€X]/year
  • Certificates renewed and shared every year

Commercial terms

  • Fixed prices in EUR per milestone or per month
  • Accept escrow payments and our replacement guarantee
  • No direct contracting with clients introduced through us for [24] months
  • IP and work results transfer to the client on payment

How payment works

The client’s money is secured before you start each milestone, and you are paid on acceptance, not when the client pays its invoice.

1

Contract

The client contracts our EU entity. You sign a partner agreement with us. You never chase a European client for payment.

2

Escrow first

The client funds each milestone into escrow before work on it starts. You can see it is funded.

3

Deliver

You deliver the agreed scope. The local connector joins the review.

4

Acceptance

The client accepts, or it is accepted automatically after [5] working days without a reasoned objection.

5

You are paid

Within [X] working days of acceptance, in EUR, minus the platform fee.

Fees and currency

  • Platform fee: [X]% of each milestone or monthly fee, deducted before payout. It covers sales, the EU contract, escrow, insurance and connector fees.
  • No joining fee and no fee on unpaid work.
  • Currency: EUR by international bank transfer to your Indian business account. Currency conversion is at your bank.
  • Monthly teams are invoiced monthly in arrears and paid within [X] working days.

Invoicing, pilots and problems

  • You invoice us, not the client, as an export of services. We provide what you need for inward remittance records (FIRA / e-BRC). [Confirm GST and LUT treatment with your chartered accountant.]
  • Paid pilots: if a client stops after a pilot for quality reasons, you still receive [X]% of the pilot fee.
  • If a team is replaced because of your delivery failure, milestones not yet accepted are not paid. There are no other penalties unless agreed in the contract.
  • Disputes go to our mediation first, then arbitration in [EU city].

Example: a €10,000 milestone, accepted on day 0 → you receive €10,000 minus [X]% platform fee by day [X].

Even if the client’s own payment terms are 60 days

Questions partners ask

Do we need a company in Europe?

No. Our EU entity holds the client contract. You contract with us.

What if the client pays late?

That is our risk, not yours. Milestones are funded in escrow before work starts, and we pay you on acceptance.

Can we work with a client directly later?

Not for [24] months after the introduction, unless agreed with us. After that, you are free.

Is there an exclusivity requirement?

No. You keep your own clients and other channels in Europe and elsewhere.
